Mississauga is a powerful municipality just West of Toronto. It is one of the country’s top ten biggest cities and is home to many Fortune 500 companies’ Canadian headquarters.   • Lorne Park – This neighbourhood is to the south of the QEW and runs along the lakeshore. To the east is another affluent neighbourhood, Port Credit, and is south of the Mississauga Road area. Lorne Park makes the list of Top Ten Wealthiest Neighbourhoods in the GTA with properties selling for anywhere between $700,000 and $4.5 million. A unique place to buy luxury homes in Mississauga is Lorne Park Estates, a private community overlooking Lake Ontario. The Lorne Park Estates Homeowners (LPEA) are responsible for the property taxes and cooperatively handle the maintenance, insurance and taxes on this reserve. There are walking trails on the estate, a private park and forests for neighbours to enjoy. Nearly 100 properties sold over the million-dollar mark in 2013 and in 2015 the most expensive address sold for $4 million. There are many luxurious amenities surrounding the area including exclusive and high-end retail and highly rated schools.
  • Mineola West (Port Credit) – Many of these ranch style homes are nestled in sprawling properties with large trees in the northern reaches of Port Credit. These luxurious properties are selling as expensive as $5 million and for the wealthy, are highly sought after. Close to GO transit feeding into Toronto and the downtown core, executives can enjoy privacy and quiet down time once they arrive home.
